Advanced Management Proseminar is designed as a capstone course for PhD students in the management concentration, intended to deepen their understanding of contemporary issues in management research and to cultivate their ability to contribute original and impactful scholarship to the field. This course integrates advanced theoretical perspectives, cutting-edge research methodologies, and critical discussions of the philosophy of science as it relates to management studies. Students will engage with seminal and contemporary research articles, exploring various paradigms and methodological approaches that shape the discourse in management. The course also emphasizes the development of a research agenda that addresses significant gaps in the literature, fostering the skills necessary for successful dissertation work and future academic contributions.
