NURS-524: Collaborative Management for the AGACNP I

Class Program
Credits 4

This course is the first in a series which focuses on the collaborative management of adult and geriatric populations with complex acute and chronic health conditions within the acute care setting. Emphasis is placed on the integration of evidence-based guidelines and research to support diagnostic reasoning, clinical decision-making, health promotion, and disease prevention to improve health status. Students will examine diagnostic and therapeutic regimens to support culturally sensitive healthcare needs and promote adaptation of diverse and underserved populations. Students apply both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management strategies while refining systems-level leadership skills to ensure safe, high-quality care across the continuum of acute and chronic illness.
