Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Concentration

Program

Lincoln Memorial University's (LMU) Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree program, Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FPMHNP) concentration prepares nurses in an advanced practice role with competencies in mental health promotion and culturally competent clinical management of common conditions across the life span. The concentration can be completed in seventeen (17) months of full-time study and twenty-eight (28) months of part-time study. Both full time and part time options requires 44 credit hours of graduate course work including a minimum of 660 clinical hours. Students who already hold an MSN degree will be awarded a post-master's certificate in their chosen concentration.
